The list is the design. The blank boxes are the receipt. Every item is what every march already demands and what every press cycle finds a reason to defer. Justice does not come pre-checked. Neither does accountability. Neither does the protection of journalists, which is the box that gets crossed off only after the next batch of journalists has been killed.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Headlines stop running when one box gets a check. The list does not. The whole point of a checklist is that the work continues past the part the cameras photograph.
